Ergonomic Lighter Redesign
Project Brief
To redesign a product with the intention of making it more ergonomic.
Approach
The redesign is of the standard hand-held lighter.
Goals for Redesign
Maintain the flint strike motion (as it is a habitual motion, therefore, its necessary )
Make the design more comfortable to use (improve the ergonomics)
Outcomes
Analysis and research into lighter usage and it is fit within a hand—an exploration into new designs and a proposed re-design.
Deliverables: Final Presentation and Rendering of Proposed Lighter Redesign.
